It’s critically important that we take necessary steps to prevent transmission, both for your safety and ours. To that end, or rather at the beginning of a new reality for us all, we have implemented these steps so that together we can enjoy the happiness that jewelry brings to our lives!
Distancing:
We will open by appointment only for the foreseeable future. This means that no more than four people will be in the gallery at any one time, including staff. Given the size of our space, this is well within the occupancy limits set by the state for Phase 2 of Governor Baker’s reopening plan. This way, we can ensure that physical distancing is maintained, and that there is ample time to clean and disinfect items and surfaces between appointments.
We have arranged our reception area to allow a 6-foot separation between staff and customers when discussing short topics, like cleaning and repair requests.
We have installed a plexiglass window at the front of the reception counter for pick-ups, and can offer contactless payment through Apple Pay.
We have another plexiglass window at our back conference table to facilitate safe design consultaions and jewelry handling when keeping 6 feet apart is not feasible.
Cleaning and Disinfecting:
Our shop is cleaned and sanitized at the beginning and end of every day. All surfaces, high-touch areas, and shared items such as door handles, keypads, tabletops and pens are disinfected between appointments.
All jewelry is disinfected before and after being handled or tried on by a customer. Gloves are available for customer use if desired.
Hygeine Protocols:
Masks are mandatory for both customers and staff. If you come without one, we will happily provide one for you!
We require all visitors to use hand sanitizer upon entering the shop, and especially before trying on jewelry. Both gel and spray-type sanitizer is available for your use, or you may use your own.
Staff will wear gloves when sanitizing and packaging an item for purchase. We have switched to pretty gift bags and tissue rather than our traditional wrapping paper and ribbon. (It’s impossible to use tape with gloves on!)
Our complete, detailed protocols are too long to list here. But if you have ANY lingering concerns or questions at all, please ask us!
