How do I get started on a custom project?

It’s easy to begin the custom design process with us!  Even if you’ve never even considered designing a piece of jewelry before, don’t let that worry you.  We are happy to listen to your ideas, no matter how weird or vague you think they are.  And if you don’t have any ideas, we are good at asking questions to help inspire you.  Here’s what we need you to do:

1.       Gather any stones or old jewelry you want to repurpose.

2.       Visit the shop and archive sections of our website to get a sense of our design styles.

3.       Collect any pictures or sketches of jewelry you like to help us understand your taste.

4.       Call or email our shop to make an appointment for a design consultation.

It’s best if you make an appointment, even if it’s on the same day you want to come in.  We are a very small team, and on any given day we might be working on a deadline, meeting with another client, fixing a piece of equipment, attending a gem show or webinar, meeting with a plumber… any number of things that go into running our small business.  Letting us know when and why you’re coming lets us be prepared to give you our full attention.

Think of us as “jewelry architects”.  We bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to building your piece from scratch.  An appointment affords us a clean slate and clear mind to approach your project with the focus it deserves!
